Overview
Tank Truck Recognition
Our Earth-Rite™ Ground Monitoring System only allows product transfer when the tank truck is grounded.
Positive Ground Recognition
Automatically confirms positive static ground connection.
Ground Connection Monitoring
Continuously monitor clamp and ground connection during transfer.
The Earth-Rite™ RTR™ ensures the highest possible levels of safe, positive grounding for tank trucks during flammable transfer operations. Unlike conventional systems, the Earth-Rite™ RTR™ provides fail safe confirmation of the static ground condition using patented Intrinsically Safe Electronics and Universal Ground Clamp.
Benefits
Static sparks and flammable liquids are a dangerous mix – protect your personnel with our truck grounding systems.
With the Earth-Rite™ RTR™ you can gain:
- Reliability: The RTR has been independently tested and approved for mounting in SIL2 rated environments confirming the Earth-Rite™’s 10 year track record of proven system reliability and performance.
- Flexibility: The RTR can be mounted at remote loading stations and connected to locally verified ground points and can reduce the cost of installation and maintenance.

Other features include:
Mode 1 (Tank Truck Recognition):Confirms RTR clamp is connected to tank truck and not other grounded/ungrounded objects.
Mode 2 (Positive Ground Recognition):Confirms RTR clamp is connected to tank truck and not other grounded/ungrounded objects.
Mode 3 Ground Connection Monitoring:Confirms clamp connection and ground connection are good throughout transfer process by ensuring connection resistance does not rise above 10 Ohms.
