|
Earth-Rite RTR Static Grounding while transferring flammable products
|
|
Carbis Earth-Rite Ground Monitoring System helps to prevent deadly static sparks associated with static electricity.
Tank Truck Recognition
Our Earth-Rite Ground Monitoring System only allows products transfer when the tank truck is grounded.
Positive Ground Recognition
Automatically confirms positive static ground connection.
Ground Connection Monitoring
Continuously monitor clamp and ground connection during transfer.
|
| The Earth-Rite RTR ensures the highest possible levels of safe, positive grounding for tank trucks during flammable transfer operations. Unlike conventional systems, the Earth-Rite RTR provides fail safe confirmation of the static ground condition using patented Intrinsically Safe Electronics and Universal Ground Clamp. |
|
|
The Earth-Rite RTR Static Grounding System is designed specifically for tank trucks with rubber tires. For dedicated loading/unloading of Rail Cars or other conductive mobile tanks, IBC totes and drums the standard Earth-Rite PLUS system with Single Mode (Ground resistance monitoring) is available. For complete flexibility in mixed loading applications specify the Earth-Rite RTRwith additional Mode Selector Key Switch.
|
|
Mode 1 | Tank Truck Recognition
Confirms RTR clamp is connected to tank truck and not other grounded/ungrounded objects.
Mode 2 | Positive Ground Recognition
Confirms RTR clamp is connected to tank truck and not other grounded/ungrounded objects.
Mode 3 | Ground Connection Monitoring
Confirms clamp connection and ground connection is good throughout transfer process by ensuring connection resistance does not rise above 10 Ohms
Reliability | The RTR has been independently tested and approved for mounting in SIL2 rated environments confirming the Earth-Rite’s 10 year track record of proven system reliability and performance.
Flexibility | The RTR can be mounted at remote loading stations and connected to locally verified ground points and can reduce the cost of installation and maintenance.
Compliance with NFPA 77 and CENELEC 50404 | The RTR enables compliance with the best practice guidelines of NFPA 77 & CENELEC 50404 which recommend that tank trucks present in hazardous atmospheres be fully grounded prior to and during the transfer of cargo. |
